NUCLEATING ADDITIVE MASTERBATCH

Nucleating additive masterbatch are containing a type of chemical substances which after incorporation in plastics and creates a free radical crystals in the polymer melt, it promote the crystallization of semi-crystalline polymers. These additives function by presenting a heterogeneous surface to the polymer melt, making the crystallization process more thermodynamically favorable. As a result of this effect, the temperature at which the polymer begins to crystallize from the melt is increased, as are the rate of nucleation and overall rate of crystallization. Polypropylene is recognized as a relatively easy material to nucleate. This is because the rate of crystallization is low enough to allow the nucleating agent to have a direct impact on the nucleation density.
